Yeah, I haven't measured it or anything, just saying that sitting between my monitors and using the boxes, sounds identical.

Honestly I don't hear any difference between MKI and MKII.
The noise floor is a lot lower on MKII (at least when comparing MnM MKI and MDUW MKII). From top of my head it was something like -60 dB vs. -90 dB when I measured it.
Just to correct this, my MD-UW MK1 measures -89dB and MnM MK1 a little better. MKIIs are something around -100dB. People having issues with this are probably having a little groundloops etc within their houses.
